Camargo Corrêa is one of the biggest Brazilian private conglomerates, composed of publicly traded and closed companies, and shared management, operating in Brazil and in more than 20 countries. The company was founded in 1939 by Sebastião Camargo in the city of Jaú, in the interior of the State of Sao Paulo but now its headquartered in São Paulo.
The Group its controlled by three daughters of Sebastião Camargo, Regina, Renata and Rosana, represented by their husbands, minus Rosana.

Major
Businesses that concentrate the capital employed and account for most of the revenue of the Group and its divisions are:
- Cement - Represented by InterCement (formerly Camargo Corrêa Cimentos) and a participation of 28.6% in the stockholders of Portuguese Cimpor purchased of Portuguese construction company Teixeira Duarte, Spanish siderurgy Bipadosa and of Teixeira Duarte family.[1]
- Energy Concession - Represented by Camargo Corrêa Desenvolvimento em Infraestrutura that has largest participation in the control block of Electric company CPFL Energia.
- Highways Concession - Represented by Camargo Corrêa Desenvolvimento em Infraestrutura that has Part of the controlling interest in the highway company CCR .
- Construction - Area of project and management of infrastructure works, is represented by Construções e Comércio Camargo Corrêa. .
Consolidated
- Footwear - represented by the Alpargatas operates in the footwear and sporting goods sector. Alpargatas currently owns Alpargatas Argentina, which already has its parent.
- Railroad Concession - Ferrosur Roca is an Argentine conssecionaire railway transport company controlled by Loma Negra, an Argentine cement company controlled by Camargo Corrêa Cimentos.
- Environment - Environmental management of waste, water and effluent through the company CAVO .
